Monday night at The Crown - album cover pic

In 2001/2002, Monday nights were a regular musical and cultural event in The Crown Bar - at the rear of Bangor's Royal Hotel.

From 10 pm through to 1 am the venue reverberated with music and song, which varied from Irish and Scottish traditional jigs, reels, hornpipes, etc. to ballads, laments - even blues, U2 and Don McClean on occasion.

Being an hotel, the nationalities varied from the locals to visiting Scots, Australians, Italians, Spanish, and a regular Sri Lankan on bongoes! The whole point was to enjoy the music - whatever we played. Now you can enjoy it too!
