Drebin formed in Belfast in late 1997. After a sustained period of inactivity due to a succession of lineup changes, the two remaining original members, drummer Paul Duffy and bassist/songwriter Conor Green, have been joined by lead vocalist Ruth Sheppard and guitarist Aaron McGrath.
They have been described as "Indie Power Pop at its finest - smooth, driving guitars are outshone only by the harmonised vocals that soar over the tunes."

Dave McCullough
Dave is a member of the Peninsula Singer Songwriters Group and enjoys nothing more than an evening with other songwriters exchanging their stories and craic. He comes mainly from the late 80's A&R School of songwriting and hopes one day to be included on a Telstar compilation!
Justin Stewart
Justin is the Marketing Director for the Peninsula Singer Songwriter's Group. His father was a well-known figure in the Ulster music scene, with his bands, "Penny Black" and "Purple Haze". Justin is following in his father's footsteps and has played with several different blues bands and has shared the stage with Jim Wilson, the drummer of Rory Gallagher's band; Billy Harrison, who played with Van Morison and "Them".
Justin is a well known artist who has played with a number of blues bands; and most notably for his band, "Small World". Justin has co-written a lot of his songs with his mother Rhoda, a good lookin' 60's chick! His father taught him guitar initially, then Justin was taught by Ronnie Bailie, Niall Rice, Gordon McAllister and latterly by Raymond Valentine formerly of "Purple Haze", who now runs 'Valentine Recording Studio', in Strangford.
Jacqui Nesbitt
Jacqui is a prolific songwriter and has many dozens of songs to her credit. She has performed in Belfast and the United States where she charms audiences with her soft soulful voice, complimented by the gentle strumming of her steel guitar. A singer/songwriter to watch.
Jacqui would like to record her own album in the near future.
Brian Ervine
Brian teaches in Orangefield Secondary School. He has written and performed numerous songs and poems in the "Ulster Scots" tradition. He has a particular interest in history, and has written many songs, which reflect Ulster's connection with the two World Wars. His songs and poetry reflect his East Belfast roots, and the Ulster/Scots connection.
John Bell
John Bell began playing the guitar many years ago, and with his band "The Specters", rubbed shoulders with people like Phil Coulter and Van Morrison back in the 1960's. Realising that a 'proper' career would be better at putting food on the table, he became a teacher and forgot about 'being a star'.
After being persuadad by his brother, he began to play the guitar again and surprised himself by remembering many of the old 'Shadows' numbers he played long ago. Today he has built up a fine collection of music, including some of his own compositions. John has proved that you're never too old to enjoy playing music.
David Garland
David is fifteen years old and has studied guitar for three years. He is a budding singer/songwriter who has just recorded his first CD. He is studying for GCSE's at Regent House school this year.
Elaine Clark
Elaine has a Master's Degree in Business Administration and is currently a part-time lecturer in Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education.
Elaine has studied opera and trains under some of Ulster's most respected singing teachers. She is a singer/songwriter and has just recorded her first CD.
Elaine has sung with various bands and has a bright and exciting future ahead of her.
Dean Llewellyn (music)

Dean has performed extensively in seventeen countries, has recorded three albums; and produced numerous CD and video recordings. Dean has been teaching guitar and has organised musical and recording seminars for several years. He has worked with media giant "Sony" and has a wealth of experience in Community Music Projects.
Noreen Potter is the coordinator of the Peninsula Singer Songwriters. She was a part-time teacher at North Down Institute of Further and Higher Education, and Community Education and Development worker before her retirement.
When her "impulse gene" took over Dean became the verbal Zimmer for her songs. Noreen was a number of the Patricia Mulholland Irish Ballet Company for over twenty years.
Volvograd
Volvograd are a fivepiece band; from Bangor and East Belfast. They describe their music as being like pancakes (straddling the line between sweet and savoury) or maybe it's like a new wave of progressive rock.
Raymond McCullough
Raymond is a writer and publisher based in Conlig. He has worked on the Irish music scene for over twenty years and is an accomplished singer/songwriter and video producer.
He can be heard performing in many North Down venues where he shares his unique blend of music.
